Thank you for using VisaBuddy Japan. Please read these terms carefully before using the Service. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Description of Service
VisaBuddy Japan is a self-service tool that helps foreign residents in Japan organize their own situation regarding visa status, permanent residency, and Highly Skilled Professional applications. The point estimates, eligibility assessments, and document checklists provided by the Service are for reference only, do not constitute legal advice, and do not represent an official determination by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan or any government authority. Actual application outcomes are determined solely by official review.
Account Registration
Some features require you to register an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for any loss resulting from inaccurate account information or inadequate password protection.
Paid Plans & Payment
Certain features (AI consultation, document assistance, etc.) require a paid unlock. Payment is a one-time purchase that grants 7 or 30 days of access — it does not auto-renew and does not constitute a subscription. Payments are processed via Stripe.

Disclaimer
All assessments and estimates provided by the Service are based on the information you provide and currently published rules, and are intended solely to help you organize your situation before consulting a licensed immigration specialist (gyoseishoshi) or preparing application materials. We do not guarantee that estimated results will match actual review outcomes, and we accept no legal liability for any consequences arising from your use of the Service. Visa and permanent-residency rules may change — please confirm against the latest official information.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to submit false information, attempt to bypass or compromise system security, reverse-engineer the Service, scrape data at scale through automated means, or use the Service for any purpose that violates Japanese law.
Intellectual Property
The Service's interface design, copy, logic, and related intellectual property belong to VisaBuddy Japan. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
Changes & Termination of Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Service at any time. Where you hold unused paid entitlements, we will handle them in a reasonable manner.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be marked with an updated date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Japan.
